Alpha II, LLC (“Alpha II”) is a Delaware limited liability company with its administrative headquarters in Tallahassee, Florida. Alpha II provides diverse data products and services in support of the medical community.

Purpose and Scope

Alpha II provides this Privacy Policy to inform the visitors, viewers and users of its website, products, and services of what data we collect and how we use it. This Privacy Policy applies to all websites, products and services in and using the “alphaii.com” and “alphaii.net” domains unless a more specific Privacy Policy is stated in the particular website, product or service.

Website Users and Visitors

Except as stated in this document, Alpha II does not require visitors to the alphaii.com websites to provide personally identifiable information such as names, email addresses and phone numbers. Like most website operators, Alpha II does collect non-personally identifiable information of the type that is normally made available by your browser and intermediate servers such as browser type, operating system, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of the website visit. Alpha II also collects information that is potentially personally-identifying information such as Internet Protocol (IP) addresses and location data that may not be personally-identifying by itself but, in conjunction with other data, may be used to personally identify users and visitors. Sometimes a webpage may provide a means to input personally identifiable information for specific purposes such as a request for a follow-up communication about our products and services. In that case, Alpha II does collect the information input by the user or visitor.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track visitor activity on alphaii.com and store certain information about the activity. Tracking technologies used are beacons, tags, and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze our website and the value it provides.

Product Users

Product users interact with Alpha II products primarily through our alphaii.net domain.  For our users, we collect their names, IP address, company name, telephone numbers, user ID, login credentials, usage statistics, and other information typical for users of online software services. 

Webinar Registrants and Attendees

Alpha II presents many multimedia training and marketing via the internet (“webinars”) each year.  We may produce, present or co-host the webinars in concert with other companies.  For registrants and attendees of the webinars, we collect names, address, telephone numbers, email addresses, IP addresses, and usage/viewing statistics.

 

How we use it

Alpha II uses the information collected to enable us to carry out our business serving our current and potential customers. For casual website visitors, for example, the information collected is used to provide a more intuitive and informative web-browsing experience, and understand the kind of information and services that the visitors are looking for. For users of our products and services, the information collected is used to carry out the transactions, develop future products and services, and allow us to develop marketing campaigns. Alpha II does not share any collected information with unrelated companies. Alpha II may share the collected information with its affiliated companies that are in its legal structure or third-party companies that provide services to Alpha II. In these cases, Alpha II will have written contracts that include confidentiality provisions and the information collected will be used only for limited purposes and will not be sold.

 

California Residents

If you are a California resident, you may opt out of future sharing of your visitor information, request deletion of your visitor information and/or request information about our compliance with California privacy law by contacting us at privacy@alphaii.com or by sending a letter to Alpha II, LLC, 2074 Summit Lake Drive, Attn: Privacy Officer, Tallahassee, FL 32317.  Any such request must include “California Privacy Rights Request” in the first line of the request, and include your name, street address, city, state and ZIP code. 

 

Agreement to the Privacy Policy; Applicable Law

By accessing the websites in the alphaii.com domain, using our products and services, or registering for or attending our webinars, you indicate that you understand and agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy and your access or use of the websites in the alphaii.com domain shall be controlled solely by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, not including any conflict of laws provisions therein. In any dispute based on or related to this Privacy Policy or your access or use of the alphaii.com domain websites, you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of law in Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida.
